The Creation

Reactive glaze ceramic

Firing at low temperature with a glaze that reacts to heat, giving a gradient effect in the color. From one piece to another, differences in nuances specific to the process.
First foray into this process which differs from the matte or glossy enamels we usually work with. Sarah chose this material for its irregular aspect, its grain, its nuances of color...

The Material

Ceramic
Ceramic is a mixture of clay and silica that allows the product to solidify. This mixture is then fired at high temperature. The manufacture of a ceramic piece is a succession of steps all done by hand by more than 10 people requiring care and attention.

Strong inspiration from the 60s and 70s. Brown, tan, amber and warm tones typical of this period.
Bark and fawn color range: Bold color environment. A real novelty for our color range.
