The Sicilia lamp is born from a journey : the memory of a sunset, on a beach in Sicily.

It rises like a sculpture, thanks to the gesture of the ceramic craftsman who patiently shaped the stoneware, before dipping the piece in a bath of color, then firing it at 1280°, until the magic of the glaze is revealed.

Always elegant, Sicilia wears an off-white cotton lampshade edged with a black edging, which makes the light last longer. This majestic lamp dresses your interior with a soft and warm light.

The Material

When it goes in the oven, in so-called "Grand Feu" cooking at 1280 °, the piece of raw stoneware reaches its final shape and the world of color. Sandstone is often considered more noble than simple terracotta, or porcelain. In the early morning, every time the oven comes out, the magic happens. Each of the pieces is unique: "neither quite the same, nor quite another".
