Secret treasure chest. The Maison's new signature, the Équilibre collection plays on the perfect blend of raw oak and high-gloss lacquer. The eponymous bedside table features striking curves—an ecru-toned lacquer finish—warmed by a solid oak base.

Like an architectural object, this side table with adorable dimensions has more than one feature up its sleeve: a shelf and a discreet drawer.

The curves with their goldsmith finishes were made using a CNC machine, an ideal process for creating pieces with infinite precision.

Made in Portugal.

Les Artisans du Beau - Bois laqué

Le bois laqué est le fruit d'un travail artisanal d'une précision extrême. Utilisée depuis des siècles, la laque végétale provient du laquier, un arbre dont la résine est transformée, mélangée à des pigments naturels et à de la terre, avant d’être patiemment appliquée sur un support en bois.

Obtenue par l'application successive de plusieurs couches de pigments et de vernis, chaque objet est ensuite poncé, poli et séché plusieurs fois, pour obtenir une finition brillante ou mat.
La laque brillante reflète la lumière, apporte profondeur et éclat, et crée un effet miroir qui souligne le raffinement de la pièce.
La laque mate, plus douce visuellement, diffuse la lumière de façon subtile et met en avant la pureté des lignes et des volumes.

Une œuvre façonnée par le temps, la patience et la main de l’artisan.
