Like a trophy to be celebrated, the Oscar candle holder, ideal for thin candles, proudly displays its sculptural appearance and brilliant color.

Cubic, with soft beveled details, silver shell contrasting with the vibrant color of its container, this beautiful object plays on subtlety. Lacquered in gradient using artisanal know-how, here it is displayed in its most beautiful light: a stature that attracts attention on a dining room table or an entryway pedestal table.

Designed in brushed aluminum and lacquered MDF, this decorative object enhances ancestral Vietnamese know-how, renowned for its high-gloss gradient lacquer coverage: more than twenty meticulous gestures, all carried out by hand, are necessary to create each object.

Available in two sizes and three colors: Sarah Blue, Carmine or Havana.

Les Artisans du Beau - La Laque

Chaque pièce laquée est le fruit d’un travail artisanal d’une extrême précision, perpétuant un savoir-faire ancestral originaire du Vietnam. Utilisée depuis des siècles, la laque végétale provient du laquier, un arbre dont la résine est transformée, mélangée à des pigments naturels et à de la terre, avant d’être patiemment appliquée sur un support en bois.

De la mise en forme de la base en bois à l'application du logo, plus d’une vingtaine d’étapes se succèdent, toutes réalisées à la main, dans le respect de la tradition. Façonnage, ponçage, polissage, nettoyage, applications successives de couches protectrices, de laques transparentes et de couleurs par sprayage, chaque geste est maîtrisé et répété avec minutie.

Chaque objet est ainsi poncé, poli, séché et laqué avec soin, plusieurs fois, jusqu’à obtenir une finition brillante ou mat.

Une œuvre façonnée par le temps, la patience et la main de l’artisan.
