Made using the hand-tufting technique, an innovative process introduced and perpetuated by the Pinton factory, this rug combines tradition and modernity. Using local wool, each piece offers remarkable quality and infinite precision.
The tufting technique combines ancestral know-how and modern tools. On a vertically stretched canvas, the craftsman transfers the design of the future rug with precision. The implantation of the threads, strand by strand, is done manually with a gun, on the back of the canvas, according to the colors, the design and the pile heights. Manual intervention allows changes of threads and materials in accordance with the reference model. The chiseling method then sculpts the wool, thus creating reliefs on the tufted surface.
