In Marrakech, know-how becomes evident
Between Maison Sarah Lavoine and the Moroccan workshop Ateliers Beldine , a collection as precious as it is meaningful was born. Conceived as a tribute to Morocco, the country close to the heart of our founder Sarah Poniatowski, this collaboration celebrates local craftsmanship while supporting projects with a strong social impact.
Inspired design, committed production
The collection, a very limited edition , consists of unique decorative pieces made of ceramic and recycled glass: delicately hand-painted glasses, vases with symbolic motifs and bowls with poetic accents. Each object evokes a journey—in the alleys of the Medina, under the palm trees of the Palmeraie or among the sun-drenched olive trees. The vibrant colors, simple shapes and patterns inspired by local nature tell a story of territory, transmission and imagination.

But beyond their refined aesthetics, these creations have another value: They support the professional integration of women and the protection of children through social programs established in Tameslouht, a few kilometers from Marrakech.
Beldine Workshops: an artisanal and social model
Founded in 2002, the Beldine Workshops are much more than just a production facility. They are a space for empowerment. Through ceramics and glass painting, they offer local women a safe, stable, and creative environment, allowing them to acquire traditional skills while developing economic independence.
Each piece is crafted using time-honored artisanal methods, including throwing, enameling, and hand-painting. The glass, meanwhile, is recycled locally, then hand-blown and decorated with sustainable, lead-free pigments—a commitment to both social and environmental responsibility.
The Menara and Birdy collections perfectly embody this synergy. The Menara water glass, adorned with an olive tree, evokes the Mediterranean and its deep roots. The Menara vase, meanwhile, is adorned with a majestic palm tree, a tribute to the lush vegetation of Marrakech. Finally, the Birdy bowl features an imaginary bird, a messenger of freedom and a nod to the dreamlike bestiary.

Craftsmanship as a lever for transformation
Each purchase of these pieces directly contributes to the financing of educational and professional programs for women and children in precarious situations. A portion of the profits is donated to local associations, in a spirit of fair and circular trade .
In a world where craftsmanship is sometimes relegated to the ornamental, Maison Sarah Lavoine and Ateliers Beldine are a powerful reminder that it can also be a driving force for change, transmission and solidarity.
