The upper part, modern in its approach to materials and colors, houses a magnificent master bedroom. On the floor, chocolate-tinted oak wood, deep and warm, sets the mood. A walnut bookcase is fitted with cupboards and serves as a headboard. Its niche painted in soft tones brings contrast and a play of colors to the graphic aesthetic.
The very refined dressing room with chrome-plated brass and mirror doors brings shine and reflections, and leads us into the bathroom in white Carrara marble and dark wood.
A desire to enhance the smallest detail, to highlight the excellence of French craftsmanship, gives life to a dressing table with triptych mirrors, upholstered in natural fibers treated on the surface with coatings rarely used and little seen.
A lava stone fireplace adds extra warmth to this very elegant bedroom.
Still upstairs, a gym, with mirror layouts, was designed with technical coverings and perfect acoustics so as not to disturb the lower floor. A nod to the hostess’s dance classes.
A second spacious and comfortable bedroom with rather masculine touches leads us to a beautiful solid oak staircase which opens onto a small television lounge, anteroom and transitional room between the 2 apartments.
We enter a very large living room where numerous pieces of furniture found in antique dealers fill the space with chic. The walls host works of contemporary art collected over time. Accessories, lighting or unique works end up perfecting this place with neutral and soft tones. Marsh oak, slightly grayed, comes into play on certain design elements.
An adjoining dining room is covered with woodwork, cornices with rounded corners or hidden cupboards, here too, works find their place on the walls.
The chocolate-stained oak kitchen with Corian worktop is entrusted to the Boffi house.
The strength of this project is to have been able to combine the two spaces with great elegance by choosing very high-end materials, pushing refinement to the extreme. The very strong impulse of art takes us through the years of a life rich in numerous travels and reveals the personality of this very inspiring couple.
