PARIS VIII, JULY 2024
A meeting between timeless elegance and French architectural heritage. In order to bring each French person behind the scenes of a house that belongs to them by destination, the Presidency of the Republic wanted to promote the know-how and excellence of French craftsmanship.

Our studio responded to this call to bring to life an exceptional project, the Maison Elysée, and drew its inspiration from the emblematic elements of the Élysée Palace.

Three distinct spaces have been designed to reflect the soul of the place: a café that can accommodate 40 people, a 90m² shop, and a 200m² exhibition space.

The chosen color palette, dominated by pearl gray, pays homage to the recently renovated Village Hall. This tone creates a harmonious balance highlighting products with tricolor accents. The deep blue, inspired by the carpet on the Murat staircase created by Nathalie Junod-Ponsard, brings depth, while the patterns of the staircase faithfully reflect the railings of the facade on the courtyard side of the Palace.

Every detail, from the furniture to the materials used, highlights the excellence of made in France. The fabrics, carefully selected, are made in France, thus reinforcing the artisanal and heritage identity of the project. Each space has been designed to interact with the objects sold in the store, creating an immersive experience where design meets history.

The entrance column, reinterpreted according to the peristyle, gives timeless majesty to the space, while the emblematic glass roof of the place plays a central role in lighting and structuring the volumes, bringing natural light and a feeling of openness to the entire project.
