This couple with very contemporary leanings asked us to rework and modernize the layout of this classic space. We therefore kept its imprint while revisiting every detail.
Upon entering the apartment, the creation of a false glass roof with backlighting on the ceiling gives the illusion of having your head in the clouds.
On the ground, a custom-made layout of graphic diamonds, precious marquetry work of black and white marble and gray stones, hypnotizes the eye.
White walls are often replaced by the softness and chic of shades of beige or tones on tones of gray.
The Hungarian point parquet has kept its chevrons, however replaced by wide slats of black and matt stained oak.
An artist's work of games of trees sculpted in wood, transform the headboards into works of art. Covering of mosaics in glass paste and very soft neutral tones, for the bathrooms.
The kitchen is entrusted to the Boffi house, Burgundy stone floor with black marble cabochon, again for a more modern effect.
A very contemporary apartment, very bright and very functional in its circulation. The furniture as well as each detail are singularly chosen and the overall rendering resolutely distinctive and avant-garde.
The vintage pieces of furniture were found by Jacques Hervouet, an antique dealer in Paris. The woodwork on the walls of the room was made by Zoé Ouvrier.
