The Maison Sarah Lavoine studio is designing a 37-room five-star hotel in the heart of the first arrondissement of Paris. Imagined as a place to live, on a human scale, inspired by the codes of Parisian style and what characterizes and fascinates Sarah: colors, noble materials and simple lines. A great freedom in the design allowed us to create, draw and think about every detail with a real bias and a strong consistency with the signature of the House.
As soon as you cross the threshold, an intimate warmth emerges, a cozy and friendly atmosphere, like a house where it is good to be. The lobby is covered with exotic wood flooring stained wenge in a mosaic mesh. The ceilings with the same finishes diffuse an English club spirit.
To revisit the classics of Parisian apartments, the walls are dressed in woodwork and contrasted by sets of frames, welcoming the iconic marriage of the colors Black and Sarah Blue. (Ressource Collection and Maison Sarah Lavoine).
A few meters away, a large living room with a majestic library in which blends an enameled lava stone fireplace, surrounded by black sofas placed back to back and armchairs in flowered velvet. The atmosphere is hushed, with a concern for intimacy, a set of partitions in mirrors pivoting recto-verso, filters the light and the comings and goings of each. The different living spaces coexist as in a contemporary house.
In the chic and relaxed extension of the lounge, a bar as delightful as a jewel box as well as a restaurant plunging onto a planted patio and a tree-lined terrace, a real lung between the two buildings of the hotel.
Lava stone is used in the swimming pool and spa floors, while mineral coatings caress the walls.
On the upper floors, the 37 rooms, including 4 suites, are available in 5 different colors. The basics are common, the details that differ are numerous, all display a unique identity.
The floors feature walnut parquet floors covered with carpets or rugs with patterns designed by the studio. The colors on the walls are also worked on the ceilings, for a more contemporary effect.
Two-tone velvet or linen headboards frame the beds with a return, for even more welcoming comfort.
Ceramic rice grains hang and decorate the walls.
The white marble bathrooms are separated from the bedrooms by bay windows with interior shutters (opaque on the bedroom side, mirror on the bathroom side) allowing soft light to enter when the shutter is open. The showers with the sometimes integrated hammam are covered with soft-coloured eligs.
The Roch Hotel & Spa is a unique, Parisian and signature place. A chic and cozy haven of peace that makes you want to put down your suitcases.
