Upstairs, each of the many rooms is identified by its color, the Storm, Bark or even Bleu Sarah room (Ressource-Maison Sarah Lavoine painting collection). The details further personalize some of them, such as a vintage rosewood bookcase, framing a king-size bed. Linens, natural and noble materials are placed, settled.
Each bathroom is clad in oak, sometimes on the walls as well as on the floors, echoing the parquet floors of the house. Bands in the iconic colours of the House adorn a carpet designed and created for the stair runner.
In order to let in light and provide a splendid view of the park, one of the major challenges of the project was to open the façade towards the garden on the bedroom floor. We created workshop windows on a long, continuous balcony, clad in exotic wood and giving a lot of character.
The kitchen is the nerve center of this building with its astonishing charm and friendliness. A large room where you pass through, stop, cook, or sit by the captivating fireplace. A monumental table in a powerful and brilliant green invites friends to sit down. Wooden napkin rings with the first names of loved ones overflow from a basket.
Open by two entrances to another dining room which extends into a games room whose walls are covered from floor to ceiling with a library overflowing with books, photos and objects brought back from travel.
Finally, the large living room surrounded by windows, bathed in light, an invitation to read by the fire or to endless friendly conversations, sunk into large sofas giving the impression of being in the middle of the garden.
A green setting where cabins built in the trees or near the swimming pool add a few more guest rooms in the heart of nature. The bed linen from the Maison Sarah Lavoine collections adorns all the rooms with cozy and welcoming bedding.
