A world apart, extremely subtle, the range of beiges brings together infinite neutral shades. Its backdrop is ecru, the famous off-white. It increases in density to end its friendly stroll in shades of pinkish beige.
Stone quarries, stretches of sand and
expanses of skin, my neutrals are virgin lands which have the particularity of being always warm, never veiled in gray. These subtly tanned whites are perfect for balancing medium and dark colors with their sunny delicacy, in a much softer contrast than pure white.
Light and enveloping white, Honeysuckle is a very light, warm and luminous beige. I love flowers and I am very sensitive to the volatile complexity of their olfactory world. My preference is for white flowers, particularly those of honeysuckle and frangipani, and their powerful sweet or vanilla notes.
Just as the petals of honeysuckle flowers are contaminated by their yellow stamens, the Honeysuckle shade is enhanced by the touches of yellow and magenta that enter its composition. A nuance as delicate as a perfumer’s fragrance or a butterfly’s wing.
More pinkish and with a higher tone than Honeysuckle, the Craie shade is slightly reduced to umber. Without an ounce of austerity, this very light beige recalls the porosity of sedimentary rock and the stripped-down aesthetic of Romanesque architecture. Like limestone, it is easy to work in a harmony of colors and readily allows itself to be sculpted by light. A beach of tenderness.
This is beauty laid bare. A haven of sensuality and comfort, the Nude shade is carnal like the skin, velvety like cream. Slightly reduced, this beige tending towards yellow and pink has the radiant clarity of a natural complexion without makeup. Its wild territory also reminds me of the soft wool of alpacas growing in the golden grasses of the high plains of the Andes mountain range. An innocent and carefree shade full of tranquility
