Handcrafted in Vietnam by pad printing, the decoration retains a scent of mystery. The precious lacquer is a natural resin from shrubs that is applied in thin successive layers. The Artisans of Beauty - Lacquer

Each lacquered piece is the result of extremely precise craftsmanship, perpetuating an ancestral know-how originating from Vietnam. Used for centuries, vegetable lacquer comes from the lacquer tree, whose resin is transformed, mixed with natural pigments and earth, before being patiently applied to a wooden support.

From shaping the wooden base to applying the logo, more than twenty steps follow one another, all done by hand, respecting tradition. Shaping, sanding, polishing, cleaning, successive applications of protective layers, transparent lacquers and colors by spraying, each gesture is mastered and repeated meticulously.

Each object is thus sanded, polished, dried and lacquered with care, several times, until a glossy or matte finish is obtained.

A work shaped by time, patience, and the hand of the craftsman.
