Party table. It was while contemplating the sunsets and warm colors of Sicily that Sarah Poniatowski launched the Sicilia collection, inspired by her trip. Refined, the Sicilia tray, square format for the small model, is the ideal accessory to perfect your art of entertaining. Its rounded shapes, its exotic wood structure and its play of colors (here Sarah Blue and white) in glossy lacquer invite you to dine in all elegance and conviviality.

Easy to handle, infinitely aesthetic with a pop side, this serving tray enhances culinary creations or asserts itself as a decorative object in its own right, nonchalantly placed on a sofa or on an entrance console.

Made from exotic freijo wood in Portugal, the Sicilia top has been worked by hand and machine for the assembly of the corners by tenon and mortise.

Les Artisans du Beau - Bois laqué

Le bois laqué est le fruit d'un travail artisanal d'une précision extrême. Utilisée depuis des siècles, la laque végétale provient du laquier, un arbre dont la résine est transformée, mélangée à des pigments naturels et à de la terre, avant d’être patiemment appliquée sur un support en bois.

Obtenue par l'application successive de plusieurs couches de pigments et de vernis, chaque objet est ensuite poncé, poli et séché plusieurs fois, pour obtenir une finition brillante ou mat.
La laque brillante reflète la lumière, apporte profondeur et éclat, et crée un effet miroir qui souligne le raffinement de la pièce.
La laque mate, plus douce visuellement, diffuse la lumière de façon subtile et met en avant la pureté des lignes et des volumes.

Une œuvre façonnée par le temps, la patience et la main de l’artisan.
