Art and matter. At the origin of the Sicilia collection ? The meeting between Maison Sarah Lavoine and the French ceramist JARS. From this collaboration was born a series of carefully crafted pieces — including a trinket tray in contrasting materials.

Stamped as a decorative tray, this piece fulfills its role wonderfully on a pedestal table, a console or a sideboard. But can also, depending on your desires, free itself from its initial function: you can then slip your jewelry, a few matches or keys into it...

The Sicilia trinket tray combines raw and enameled ceramic. A work of materials that we owe to the ceramicist JARS, Entreprise Française du Patrimoine Vivant.

Les Artisans du Beau - La Céramique

La céramique est une matière composée principalement d'argiles et de minerais naturels. Utilisée depuis des millénaires, elle se distingue par sa résistance, sa versatilité et la liberté créative qu'elle offre. Selon sa composition et sa cuisson, elle se décline en plusieurs familles : la faïence, poreuse et délicatement émaillée ; le grès, dense et résistant ; la porcelaine, fine et translucide.

La céramique révèle mille nuances sous les doigts.
Ses nuances ne sont pas des défauts, mais les témoins d'un processus artisanal où chaque empreintes raconte le passage d'une main d'artisan.
