The Hotel, June 2021
It is in Biarritz that the Architecture Studio of Maison Sarah Lavoine packs down and completely rethinks the restaurant, bar and 19 rooms of the Le Café de Paris hotel, a 4-star establishment located on the seafront.

The studio had already worked with this prestigious hotel as part of the renovation of its restaurant. Today, Sarah Poniatowski applies her expertise and know-how to the entire establishment and has renovated the bar and the 19 rooms following a contemporary, authentic and relaxing spirit.

The result? 19 chic and relaxing cocoons, inspired by beach huts, boats, the ocean and the sunset where the holiday spirit reigns.

“I wanted to create an authentic space with a strong identity that would not go out of style. I like to imagine places where life is good. Meeting places,” says Sarah Poniatowski.

The project is structured around three main shades: Nude, Broome Street and Light Blue, enhanced by a lighter tone which creates an enveloping and relaxing atmosphere.

In terms of materials, natural materials such as enameled lava stone and solid oak have naturally taken their place in this privileged setting.

Each room vibrates with a unique, elegant and fresh atmosphere, which interacts with the 18 others and meets the needs of a very eclectic clientele. The floors are adorned with a tailor-made floral pattern, available in the brand's signature tones – blue and green.

Carpentry work draws the eye to the headboards, topped by a bookcase and framed by bedside tables with colored backgrounds designed for the project.

This new café deploys all the visual identity that we have created over the last few years: A bold and functional design around cheerful yellow, natural and warm materials, codes faithful to the Studio Maison Sarah Lavoine.
