Interior Design

The Interior Design Studio was founded in 2002 by Sarah Poniatowski with the desire to create timeless and lively spaces. The Company's style is recognised through the play of colour combinations, a blend of pieces, materials sublimated by the traditional know-how of its craftsmen and contemporary shapes. The taste for detail makes the difference and confers a natural elegance.

2018

The L'Oréal group has called on the Maison Sarah Lavoine architecture studio to design its head office on the banks of the Seine in Levallois-Perret. A gigantic project of 45,000 m2 on 8 floors in which 2,500 employees work. A unique and feminine place that takes up the signature style of the house by introducing home decor codes in the offices: "an office like at home"! Another way of approaching office life, convivial, colourful and contemporary, by creating living spaces that complement open spaces, such as "working coffees" at the end of the desk, lounge areas where employees can meet on high tables or sofas to discuss their projects, or "bubbles" designed to isolate themselves. The entire circulation of the space was redesigned to encourage dialogue, stimulate creativity and interaction for all employees and create a feeling of comfort. Noble materials such as sandstone, walnut and colours with assertive nuances punctuate this harmonious landscape.

2017

Sarah and her team imagine the spaces of the Roch Hotel & Spa in the 1st arrondissement in Paris. A warm setting that represents the perfect balance between elegance, conviviality, colour and the Parisian spirit. A place like Sarah's where the intense blues of the graphic prints mingle with the intense blues of the graphic prints. A welcoming atmosphere reigns by creating subtle combinations of colours and materials: thick velvet curtains, the combination of black and white, graphic carpets, custom-made two-tone fabric headboards, brass lighting designed by the designer, noble woods, coloured zelliges and Carrara marble for the bathrooms. The decoration is timeless and marked by a soft harmony! The year 2017 marks an international turning point for the brand, which sets up a joint showroom in New York with its partner Ressource.

2014

The Studio of Interior Architecture creates its first restaurant, with the Arc de Triomphe as a backdrop. The Arc gives way to the Victoria 1836. The discreet luxury of this realization highlights the chic of the mansion while insisting on its convivial side. The decor gives the impression of having existed for 40 years. It was thought up without regard for contemporary fashions. Timeless, refined, warm, luminous are already adjectives that qualify the personality of this restaurant. The Studio had fun playing with transparencies, wood and woodwork, ashlar, daylight, mirror games, reflections to create this unique place, open to the whole of Paris. Every detail has been thought out, from the mouldings to the woodwork, the carpeting that redesigns the Hungarian parquet floors and the use of the original ashlar. A veritable breeding ground for talent, the musical atmosphere of the Victoria 1836 was designed by the eclectic Helena Noguera, and Alexandre Auger, Yannick Alléno's second in command at Le Meurice, is at the head of the kitchen.

2002

In 2002, Sarah created her own interior design and decoration studio. Encounters become opportunities and Sarah develops private and public projects through which she expresses and defines her signature style. It frees itself from codes and shapes interiors that inspire well-being. Through the design of the spaces, the treatment of light, the selection of materials and the singular expression of colour, notably thanks to its deep blue, Sarah Lavoine deploys a timeless, contemporary and elegant style. During her first years she signed private projects in France but also abroad, particularly in Morocco.
