Four manufacturing stages demonstrate unique know-how. First, the hand knotting of wool sourced in New Zealand. The thread is thus passed through, knotted then cut to the desired length. A horizontal frame fixes the knots at the end of the row; each of them is also combed, little by little. Finally, the rug is cut from the loom, shaved, washed and then dried.
