High tray. A light catcher when it's time to entertain, the Basile tray perfectly handles the codes of the House. Playing on the inside and the outside, its thousand lacquered reflections vary the chromatic pleasures. Now emblematic, it proves (if it were still necessary) that you can play the curves card with character.

Thanks to its white border accompanying its enveloping curve, the Basile tray takes a collective gamble by focusing on the echo of the shades and sizes of its different models.

It owes its elegant, smooth and shiny appearance to its traditional lacquer, applied and dried by hand on its wood in multiple successive layers from a partner workshop of the House located in Vietnam.

The Artisans of Beauty - Lacquer

Each lacquered piece is the result of extremely precise craftsmanship, perpetuating an ancestral know-how originating from Vietnam. Used for centuries, vegetable lacquer comes from the lacquer tree, whose resin is transformed, mixed with natural pigments and earth, before being patiently applied to a wooden support.

From shaping the wooden base to applying the logo, more than twenty steps follow one another, all done by hand, respecting tradition. Shaping, sanding, polishing, cleaning, successive applications of protective layers, transparent lacquers and colors by spraying, each gesture is mastered and repeated meticulously.

Each object is thus sanded, polished, dried and lacquered with care, several times, until a glossy or matte finish is obtained.

A work shaped by time, patience, and the hand of the craftsman.
