The Creation
Tufting is an ancestral know-how essentially developed in India and China. This artisanal manufacturing process is carried out by hand. The craftsman implants the wicks of textile, directly in a cotton canvas on a stretched canvas, which is itself, on a vertical loom. Tufting is then carried out using a strand gun, following the colors, design and different heights of wicks. This technique brings more thickness and comfort than a classic knotting.
